Is this near Akn? My grandfather, Nicol Galanderian, the composer grew up next to the river in Akn according to his autobiography. He says, “In those days, as if it were a holiday, the people would go in the peaceful still of the night to hear the roaring of the three waters… Yeprad River, Akn-kol, and Khungazdor.”
