Vartabed Der Barthogimeos Taqadjian of Frnuz (1851 – 1924), one of the spiritual and military leaders of the 1895-1896 Zeytun Grand Uprising. My father Nigoghos Markarian from Keserigtsi was in a Syrian orphanage in Aleppo run by French catholic nuns. Is there anyone who knows about it? He fled the Genocide and ended up in that orphanage.
