I have just finished reading Franz Werfel’s powerful book and I’ve been very moved by this story. I’m Irish-German-American, and have several Armenian acquaintances where I live, in Van Nuys CA USA. I suspect I’ve always felt an affinity for the Armenian culture, since my favorite writer as a teenager was William Saroyan. I’ve been told I am a very gifted writer myself (worked in Hollywood since 1969), and would happily do anything I can to assist the Armenian people in their ongoing struggle to educate the world as to the 1915 Genocide.
