Hi
I have a picture of my Armenian Grandmother in Port Said with the Archbishop Stepanos Hovagimian. My aunt says she was adopted by Karekin and Haiganoush Manougian from the orphanage in Jerusalem before or after they went to Port Said. Her passport says she was from Adapazar or at least the Manougians may have been. I was wondering if you could see if you have names for the people in the picture above. Armenouhi Siravian Manougian. Or can I see the picture larger to see if she is there. I can also send you my picture.
Thank you

To Sandra Rutherford,
Sorry I don’t know the names of people in the photo, but want to say we have a beautiful oil painting of Archbishop Stepanos Hovagimian when he was Bishop of Nicomedia Diocese (now called Izmit, Turkey). In 1895, he ordained my great-grandfather, the Rev. Fr. Krikor Tertsagian (aka Terzian) of Geyve-Kunçilar, who sadly was martyred on Jan. 5, 1916, in Der el Zor, Syria.
All the best in your search,
