Armenian orphans in Beirut, Lebanon - 1922

My Armenian grandparents fled from the Turks and married in Lebanon in the 1920s. My mother was born in 1927 but due to her father’s ill-health had to be looker after in an orphanage from 1932 to 1940. She recalls a lady called Miss Pherson (probably MacPherson) who then had to close the orphanage and open a canteen for the soldiers in Aley. My mother worked for her there and met and married my father, a British soldier. Can anyone provide further information about Miss Pherson?
